A Course In Miracles (ACIM) discusses how we might use the Holy Spirit’s assistance to correct our ego’s ideas about the past (sin), which, if left unchecked, manifest as guilt in the present and fear in the future. You will see that nothing happened in eternity to disrupt our real, unseparated, innocent, infinitely shared Identity under the kind and gentle guidance of the Real Alternative; in other words, ego’s nightmare past never happened except in a very vivid dream that we merely appear to be still engaged in. Peace is not only conceivable, but also inevitable and available now and throughout eternity, transcending the ego’s bleak vision of the future.

 

Beyond time and space

 

Humans live in a physical world; see with eyes and name and label what is seen so they can communicate about what they are seeing and experiencing. These names, labels, and conceptions become more complicated throughout time, leading to laws, rules, and regulations that aim to improve your physical world but eventually fail you as you cannot make physical reality perfect. But seeking ourselves beyond space and time is what ACIM Free Resources teach us. You can find your peace beyond human identity which is a universal experience. You will seek to remember yourself as God’s creation. The experience of light is within you as “The Forgotten song” (chapter 12, Section 1 of A Course In Miracles) reminds us.

 

Perspective of Jesus

 

How to be guided in the present moment and have a ‘Tabula Rasa’, or ‘blank slate’, state of mind. This is what Jesus refers to in “A Course in Miracles” workbook where he asks that you allow everything that the ego has written on the world to be removed. And when you have a clean open space for the world and for your mind, the Holy Spirit will come and give you the meaning of Forgiveness. And you’ll realize that everything is found in this present moment.
